Regardless of your current immigration status, you and your family can apply for refugee status or for humanitarian protection.

There are some differences between the refugee status and humanitarian protection, regarding the duration of the stay, possibility of expulsion from the country and authorization to travel abroad. In both cases, the procedure is free of charge and the application can be submitted online. Also, the immigrants will be allowed to work in Brazil.

The list of required documents and the procedure have been simplified to facilitate the entry of Ukrainians into Brazil.
